Perhaps they are trying to phase out large engines in most cars these days, however, Industry world wide depends on the large Diesels and the large-block engines. Try as you might, you won't replace them. Dude these are not race cars.and besides air polution is caused in a large percentage by fumes produced by cars. Try to think which cars produce most fumes?..the ones that their engine looks like a truck's which is muscle cars..having a 7.000cc engine under youre hood makes you a bad guy in the big picture. youre childer will have to breath thaT air.

Honda has always made and will be making reliable engines to the degree where you need to spend a day trying to blow up the engine,also everyone will agree with the fuel economy this car has. having said that you can understand that it's common to tuners to push these engines to their limits (and still not break down), a honda integra 1.8L engine could easily get up to 400hp with stock internals.try that to a ford engine.
Screw Ford. I hate them.See, the thing is though, you have to tune the HELL out of a 1.8L engine to get it to 400 HP, dumping loads of money into it. Meanwhile, the current GTO 6.0L comes stock with 400 hp, right off the assembly line. Once you tune THAT kind of power, I've seen them over 1000 HP with the right internals. No Honda cames close to that. Fuel economy can suck a dick. If you've got the cash for gas, fuck it. a 6litter engine makes only 400hp? you call that power?..damn man honda makes more than 100hp per litter engines.try the jdm integra (1.8litter making 220hp n/a).try the jdm type R engine b16b making -185hp- out of 1.6L engine. now imagine if honda bothered to make a 6.0litter engine.i am guessing it wouldnt be only 400hp.now if you compare youre 6.0litter engine to a civic's(1.6L or 1.8L at the best) then either youre car is fucking slow or hondas are fast.

Now, take the governor off, and at 9k RPM's you're talking about 750HP. STOCK. You little honda's are nothing compaired to that. Bottom line: American Muscle beats ricers. Period. Sure but you have to mention that the honda's are turbocharged. 8.2L viper with 4 turbos is making 1200HP on the wheels, not the right behind the transmission as the honda and other car makers do. so load your mouth with rice and go to japan.
Sure, right, keep dreaming. Dodge is already making better engines than Honda. Always have, always will. Doesn't matter if it's the Viper's V10 with 1100HP, the Dodge Ram 3500 with the 450HP Hemi, or even the Dodge Caliber with the VVT World Engine. Dodge, Pontiac, Chevy, hell, even Saturn, they're all American and they're all better.

You see, here's the thing, honda makes things CHEAP, and cheap sells more. We DON'T export our domestic cars like f-ing Honda does, plus, we make them BETTER and more DURABLE, which has a tendency to bump up the PRICE. People usualy flock to the cheapest thing out there, like Scion's and Honda's, which is why they are everywhere, and on the sides of the roads busted down. You know nothing of cars, Greece boy.
