Honda Ad

Filed under: Autos — Isse @ 8:45 pm

The sequence where the tires roll up a slope looks particularly impressive but is very simple. Steiner says that there is a weight in each tire and when the tire is knocked, the weight is displaced and in an attempt to rebalance itself, the tire rolls up the slope.

Certainly was completely real. I have the DVD Honda sent ou showing you how it's made, and all the times they fluffed it. Took several hundred takes and months to make. I'm not sure if they still do but you used to be able to get the DVD for free at the Honda UK website, assuming you're from the UK...

  1. This is great ad and lot of work. Seems odd that such a postive thing generates a few very rude comments. Many people look at it and are curious and maybe are not aware of how it was done. Some comments point out things that ‘clarify’ and “educate”, while some like Fraleth down there just call those people ‘idiots’ and so on. What is the point of that? I glad I don’t have to hear from him or live near him, seems to need some education don’t you think? I mean why call someone dirty names. ?

*…because u dont understand my opinion or because its different from yours, I suddenly become unintelligent…
*…I dont understand how you can watch it over and over again in between tv breaks & not get bored by it but I wouldnt insult u for that. I wouldnt insult anyone because of my lack of understanding!

  7. finally,if u dont understand something, the reasonable, mature way to handle the situation is to ask the person why they feel that particular way or have the certain opinion! but saying that you dont understand how i can feel that way is no excuse for your rudeness. and again,it really makes you look like a fool… because you cant comprehend something you insult my intelligence. Maybe you dont realize how stupid that sounds but honestly it seems like maybe you are not very smart! paix et amour!

  15. i’m not smart because my opinion is different from yours? if u like it, good for u but as i said before, its impressive but as a commercial i find it to be boring that doesnt equal lack of intelligence. not everyone will agree with you and please dont send me insulting comments, i dont care to persue an arguement with you. however, i must admit that in your quest to insult me, you seem unintelligent for assuming a difference in opinion equals a lack of intelligence!

  18. that is a total waste of time for a commercial. . . when they coulda just made one where the car is driving by itself on a beach like all the other commercials. But i gotta admit, its pretty awsome ;)
